Ndoto Scholarship Fund

The Ndoto Scholarship Fund is a partnership between Elimu Foundation and Noble Trust College, launching in 2025. This initiative aims to sponsor over 200 deserving students in Tanzania, covering 50% of their full college fees.

Why “Ndoto”?

“Ndoto” means “Dream” in Swahili. Every child has a dream, and through your support, we can make those dreams a reality.

How It Works

  • Students receive 50% scholarship coverage for their studies at Noble Trust College.
  • Selection is based on academic merit and financial need.
  • Ongoing mentorship and leadership development provided through Elimu Foundation programs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be from a poor economic background.
  • Applicant must have a single parent or be an orphan.
  • Applicant must have completed Form Four (Ordinary Level Secondary Education).
  • Applicant must have met the minimum course requirements for admission to Noble Trust College.

How to Apply

  • Fill in the online application form available on the Elimu Foundation website.
  • Send a copy of the introduction letter from the Village Executive Officer (VEO).

Esuvat Kivuyo

Programs Manager

Esuvat Kivuyo, a dedicated Maasai leader and changemaker, brings profound insight and passion to her role as Programs Director at Elimu Foundation. Driven by her own experiences as a Maasai woman, Esuvat met Moses Ngereza while actively addressing the challenges faced by women and youth. Their shared commitment to youth leadership, women’s empowerment, and educational access sparked a strong partnership, ultimately leading them to establish Elimu Foundation together. Esuvat combines her professional expertise in healthcare with a Diploma in Community Development, uniquely positioning her to design programs that truly respond to the community’s needs—championing education justice, empowering local leadership, and transforming lives.

Moses Ngereza

Executive Director

Executive Director With over a decade of experience in senior management roles overseeing nonprofit programs and grant management, he brings proven leadership, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of community dynamics. Having grown up within the Maasai community, he intimately understands the pastoralist way of life, fueling his passion for human rights, climate resilience, and poverty eradication. Driven by firsthand experiences and a strong commitment to change, he co-founded Elimu Foundation alongside like-minded colleagues such as Esuvat Kivuyo and Eva Shirima aiming to address and transform the very challenges they’ve personally encountered within their society.
